With a career spanning nearly a decade as a fashion photographer, Nathan Richards has now turned his lens to his original passion, The American West. For the past two years, Nathan has been traveling the west capturing the lifestyle and beauty of the Cowboys and Cowgirls, and the ranches they work on.
With his many years shooting fashion for clients like Elle Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Ralph Lauren, and Ports 1961, Nathan is able to see light and composition unlike other people.
“After 10 years of photographing the world of fashion, I feel like it’s time for me to capture images that show who I am. Growing up, all I wanted to be was a cowboy. Now I get to document and bring others the beauty that these incredible people live in.”
Nathan loves having the opportunity to capture the west and let others own a piece of that place through his images.
